毕业于英国皇家威尔士音乐戏剧学院（Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama）攻读音乐表演硕士学位，师从著名声乐导 Catherine Harper 与钢琴指导 Angela Livingstone。她九岁开始接受声乐训练，早期导师包括温贵兴、潘淑萍及叶洁芝。她于2007年获得伦敦圣三一学院声乐演奏文凭（ATCL，良好等级），并于2003年在英国皇家音乐学院（ABRSM）第八级声乐考试中获得优等成绩。她也持有马来西亚沙巴大学（UMS）英语教学（TESL）教育学士学位。

简菀仪曾参与多位国际知名艺术家的大师班，包括林世毅、Rachelle Gerodias、James Gilchrist、Patricia McMahon 及 Elin Manahan Thomas。她在多项声乐比赛中获得认可，包括在2003年马来西亚全国古典歌曲比赛中获得冠军，并多次晋级全国总决赛并获奖。2009年，她入围了威尔士庞蒂普里德男声合唱团奖（Côr Meibion Pontypridd Prize）决赛。

除了演出事业外，菀仪也是一位敬业的教育者，提供私人声乐指导并指导教会合唱团。她多次担任全国比赛的评审，并于2019至2023年间担任BOH金马仑艺术奖（BOH Cameronian Arts Awards）评审团成员。她目前是吉隆坡城市歌剧院(Kuala Lumpur City Opera) 的首席女高音。

Janet Kan is a Malaysian soprano known for her expressive artistry and versatility in both operatic and concert repertoire. A native of Sabah, she earned her Master of Music in Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD), studying under distinguished vocal tutor Catherine Harper and coach Angela Livingstone. Her vocal training began at the age of nine with Vun Kui Xin, later continuing under Poon Sook Peng and Cecilia Yap. She holds an ATCL Diploma in Voice from Trinity College London (2007, Merit) and was awarded a Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 (2003). She also holds a Bachelor of Education in TESL from the University of Malaysia, Sabah (UMS).

Janet has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned artists, including Lim Shieh-Yih, Rachelle Gerodias, James Gilchrist, Patricia McMahon, and Elin Manahan Thomas. She has been recognized in numerous vocal competitions, notably as champion of the Malaysia National Classical Song Singing Competition (2003), and as a multiple-time national finalist and prizewinner. In 2009, she was a finalist for the Côr Meibion Pontypridd Prize in Wales.

Her operatic debut came at RWCMD as Une Pastourelle in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, under the baton of David Jones. She later appeared in Purcell’s The Fairy Queen as part of the RWCMD Opera Scenes. Since returning to Malaysia in 2013, she has performed widely across the country and internationally. Highlights include her 2014 solo recital in the Chin Yong Music Festival (The Songs of Great Britain), Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Yin Qi Choir and Orchestra (2016), the Opera Kul Verismo Recital alongside Cecilia Yap and Solomon Chong (2017), and Mozart’s The Magic Flute as the Third Lady with Kuala Lumpur City Opera (2019). In 2024, she represented Malaysia in Rome at the Concerto di Amicizia, in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia in Italy.

In addition to her performance career, Janet is a dedicated educator, offering private vocal instruction and coaching church choirs. She has served as a judge for numerous national competitions and was a panelist for the BOH Cameronian Arts Awards from 2019 to 2023. She currently holds the position of principal singer with Kuala Lumpur City Opera.

Samuel was born in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia and obtained ATCL singing diploma of London Trinity College and Guildhall in 2013. He was an active member of Malaysia Yinqi Choir of Sacred Music during years 2006-2011 where he was appointed as the choir leader in 2011. Sacred works that he has sung included Handel Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s B minor Mass and many others.

林天是一位来自印尼Pontianak, West Kalimantan的古典钢琴演奏家。四岁时，在父母的支持下，他开始接触钢琴；在老师们的慷慨与指导栽培下，他培养出对音乐的深厚热爱。一路走来，他很感恩有机会参与印尼及马来西亚的各项钢琴比赛与音乐会，而这些经历也对他的音乐成长与演奏生涯带来了莫大的帮助。

目前，林天正于双威大学（Sunway University）修读音乐荣誉学士学位，并师从 Harit Chunhanantasap 老师，继续精进钢琴演奏技巧。他曾在 Junior Yamaha Piano Competition 全国赛中获得第三名，并在 ABRSM 70th Anniversary High Scorers’ Competition 中荣获第一名。此外，他也曾于 2024年及2025年青年砂拉越国际音乐与艺术节（Junior Sarawak International Festival of Music and Arts, SIFMA）担任钢琴独奏演出者。

Samuel Lin Tian is a classical pianist from Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. He discovered the piano at the age of four with the support of his parents, and through the guidance and generosity of his teachers, developed a deep passion for music. Along the way, he has been grateful for opportunities to participate in competitions and concerts in both Indonesia and Malaysia, experiences that have contributed greatly to his growth as a musician.

Samuel is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music Performance at Sunway University under the tutelage of Harit Chunhanantasap, where he continues to deepen his craft as a pianist. His achievements include winning 3rd Prize at the Junior Yamaha Piano Competition (National Level), as well as 1st Prize in the ABRSM 70th Anniversary High Scorers’ Competition. Samuel has also performed as a piano soloist at the Junior Sarawak International Festival of Music and Arts (SIFMA) in both 2024 and 2025.
