毕业于意大利罗马国立音乐学院 (Conservatorio di musica ‘Santa Cecilia’, Roma), 1994年获得意大利第7届Cascinalirica国际声乐大赛得奖, 也是唯一亚裔得得奖者。 意大利著名歌剧刊物”L’Opera”, 评述演唱具细致丰富的音乐语言以及充满戏剧生命张力。 她也是2002与2003年度Kakiseni Cameronian Art’s Award的最佳独唱演唱奖之得主。

2017～19， 连续三年参与从耶加达出发的大型巡回音乐会Grand Concert Tour, 由布道家唐崇荣博士指挥，率领耶加达音乐厅管弦乐团(Aula Simfonia Jakarta)与耶加达神剧社团(Jakarta Oratorio Society)的成员们，担任女高音独唱：Mendelssohn之“Hymns of Praise”， 贝多芬第九交响曲第四乐章“欢乐颂”，Handel “弥赛亚”. 足迹遍布印尼13洲， 香港，台湾（台北、高雄），新加坡, 纽西兰与澳洲。
2018年正月29日, 洁芝荣幸的被意大利总统赐勋颁发骑士勋章的荣誉称号（Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy）～由驻马来西亚意大利大使C. Maggipinto代表颁发。 该奖项授予外国人推广意大利文化和国外声望的卓越人士。

Cecilia Yap, the esteemed soprano from Malaysia, is a prominent and highly regarded figure in the country's vibrant musical scene. A graduate of the esteemed Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome, Yap’s singing style is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Italian bel canto. Throughout her journey, she has been fortunate to have influential mentors such as Lorraine Nawa Jones Marenzi, as well as opera directors Marcello Ferroni and Marcella Govoni, who have played a pivotal role in shaping her artistic development.
Yap’s career has been marked by numerous accolades and achievements. Notably, she was the sole Asian finalist at the 7th Cascinalirica International Vocal Competition in 1994, where she was lauded for her "dramatic flair, refined vocal expression, and interpretation" by L'Opera magazine. She has also received the Best Solo Performance of the Year award at the Malaysia BOH Cameronian Arts Awards on two occasions—2002 and 2023—further solidifying her reputation as one of Malaysia’s foremost classical vocalists.
Throughout her illustrious career, Cecilia Yap has built a vast and diverse repertoire that spans Western Classical music, performing landmark works such as:

A highlight of her career was the Asian premiere of Handel’s Gloria (HWV deest) in Singapore in 2008. She also performed Bach’s Magnificat in D, BWV 243, and Cantata BWV 137 in 2015, alongside internationally renowned Bach scholar Masaaki Suzuki and Aula Simfonia Jakarta.
In the opera world, Cecilia Yap has performed some of the most challenging and iconic roles, including Micaela in Bizet’s Carmen, Liu in Puccini’s Turandot, and Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly, each time showcasing her vocal prowess and dramatic depth.As the Vocal Director of the Kuala Lumpur City Opera (KLCO), Yap has directed and shaped numerous critically acclaimed productions, including:

Cecilia Yap’s artistic journey continues to evolve with exciting future projects. She will soon premiere a song cycle by Canadian composer Josephine Wu, inspired by the poetry of 19th-century Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi.

Samuel was born in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia and obtained ATCL singing diploma of London Trinity College and Guildhall in 2013. He was an active member of Malaysia Yinqi Choir of Sacred Music during years 2006-2011 where he was appointed as the choir leader in 2011. Sacred works that he has sung included Handel Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s B minor Mass and many others.

2001年获得马来西亚博特拉大学音乐学士， 主修钢琴演奏, 师从Ms. Barno Khaknazarov及Ms. Larisa Rakhmanova。2008年获得美国西南浸信会神学院教会音乐硕士，主修钢琴教学及伴奏, 师从Dr. Jill Sprenger(钢琴教学)及Dr. Robert C. Smith(伴奏)。 她曾担任诗班合唱指导及客座音乐讲师，于教会及圣经学校进行教会音乐培训工作。她也经常担任教会司琴及演奏会的伴奏, 并曾参与Operafest儿童合唱团, 音契圣乐团, 马来西亚巴赫节等演出。目前,她在个人音乐室及音乐中心教授钢琴，教师培训和教会司琴训练课程。

Priscilla obtained her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from University Putra Malaysia (2001) under the instruction of Ms Barno Khaknazarov and Ms Larisa Rakhmanova. In 2008, she received her Master of Music in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she had the privilege to study with Dr. Jill Sprenger in piano pedagogy and Dr. Robert C. Smith in accompanying. Priscilla's various teaching experiences include serving as church choir director and as guest lecturer of church music in Bible College. She is active as a church pianist and accompanist for choirs and soloists. She has performed with Operafest Children’s Choir, YinQi Choir, and Bachfest Malaysia. She runs a home studio providing piano lesson, pedagogy seminar and church pianist training.
